Whether through our website or via phone with our planners, we’re happy to answer any questions you have from shoot setup to final photos. - Photoshoot day!
Time for some fun! Our photographer will arrive, fully equipped with everything needed to capture your family’s personalities and bond, from backdrops to lighting equipment. - Check Out
At the end of the shoot, our photographer will book your appointment with your Portraits Designer. - Design Appointment
Your Portrait Designer will share fully touched-up photos, in real-time on a call with you. From there, discover & select what package is best suited to you, from digital images, to specialty acrylic prints and everything in between.
Within a week, you could enjoy your photoshoot, select your favorite shots and receive your photos digitally.

The Basics
How much does it cost?
We charge a $99.99 Session Fee to send our professional photographers to you. Then, during your design appointment, your family can select your favorite images in many different product types. Our products range in price from $49 to $899, designed to fit every budget. Remember, we offer a convenient payment plan for all orders!
We also offer VIP Plans, which offer parents perks (like a special promo code to bypass our Session Fee, unlimited photoshoots, and more!)
How far in advance should I book my shoot?
Since our photographers are scheduled in different areas during the week, we recommend booking 1 to 2 weeks in advance.
What if I feel uncomfortable about having an unknown photographer around my family?
We know that keeping your family safe is the most important thing. All of our photographers undergo strict health and wellness training and certification in addition to an annual criminal background check to ensure your satisfaction and safety.
Questions about Family Portraits
How many family members can partake in the shoot?
We can primarily photograph up to 6 people at a time. Looking to include more members of the family? Reach out to us today to ensure we can accommodate and include the people you love most.
Do you allow for outfit changes?
Clients are allowed one outfit change during the photoshoot. However, we encourage client’s to keep in mind that the photo session is only one hour.
How long does the shoot last?
The photoshoot usually lasts about an hour. And we understand younger ones may not always cooperate. So, we will work with your family to make sure we get the shots you’re looking for.
Can I take photos outside during my photoshoot?
Yes! We encourage you to take the shoot outdoors, as this often allows for more natural interactions for our photographers to capture while showcasing a location special to your family. Just let us know the location, so our photographer knows where to meet you at the scheduled time.
Our photographers always arrive fully equipped with everything you may need to bring your ideas to life indoors as well, including backdrops and lighting equipment should the weather not cooperate!
What should I bring to the shoot?
We recommend bringing any props that are important to you and your family. Water and snacks can’t hurt to have on hand for the little ones, either!

Something came up and I have to cancel my photoshoot, is that possible?
Yes! We understand that life (especially with young kids) gets hectic. The $99.99 Convenience Fee will be fully refunded on all shoots cancelled at least 72 hours before your photoshoot date and time.
When will I get my studio quality photos?
Between the photoshoot and the appointment with your CXR is about 3 days. During that appointment, you’ll be given package options (digitals, prints, canvas and more). Digital photos will be available for download within about 3 business days. The production process takes approximately 2 weeks.
Will I have access to my photo gallery after?
At this time, the images are only viewable during your scheduled online meeting with your portrait design consultant. This allows us to edit and enhance your digital photos, create collages and customize artwork with your input. We highly recommend that everyone who wishes to view the images be included in this online meeting.
