How does it work?
Is this your first baby photoshoot with Life365 Portraits? No worries, we’re here to walk you through every step of the way. If you’ve worked with us before, we’re excited to see you again!
- Contact Us & Book Your Shoot
Whether through our website or via phone with our planners, we’re happy to answer any questions you have from shoot setup to final photos.
- Home Photoshoot day!
This is the fun part! Our photographer will arrive, fully equipped with everything you may need to bring your ideas to life, from backdrops to lighting equipment.
- Professional Photos and Check Out
At the end of the shoot, our photographer will book your appointment with your Customer Experience Representative (CXR), as well as give you options to explore our VIP Membership Plans and Perks.
- Design Appointment
Your CXR will share fully touched up photos, in real time on a call with you. From there, discover & select what package is best suited to you, from digital images, to fully pre-framed prints and everything in between.
Within a week’s time, you could enjoy your photo shoot, select your favorite shots and receive your photos digitally.

How much does it cost?
We charge a $99.99 Session Fee to send our professional photographers to your home.
We also offer Photoshoot VIP Plans, which offer parents perks (like a special promo code to bypass our Session Fee, unlimited photoshoots and more!)
How far in advance should I book my shoot?
Since our photographers are scheduled in different areas during the week, we recommend booking 1 to 2 weeks in advance.
What if I feel uncomfortable about having an unknown photographer come to my home?
We know that keeping your family safe is the most important thing. Each and everyone of our photographers undergoes strict health and wellness training and certification in addition to an annual criminal background check to ensure your satisfaction and safety.
What if I’ve worked with one of your photographers before, can I specifically book them again?
We understand that introducing someone into your home is a big decision. While we cannot guarantee a specific photographer’s availability at this time, we feel confident that every photographer in our portfolio will bring your vision to life
Questions about Studio Quality Photoshoots at Home
Can I take photos outside during my photoshoot?
We generally start with in-home photoshoot, to ensure we’re getting the highest quality shots for you and family to cherish. Our photographers always arrive fully equipped with everything you may need to bring your ideas to life, including backdrops and lighting equipment should the weather not cooperate! We’re happy to take the shoot outside afterwards if you request it and time (and weather) allow!
I’ve booked my photoshoot, now what?
Once booked, check your email! You’ll receive a confirmation from us including all the important details so you can prepare for your photoshoot. This confirmation will include your address where our photographer will travel to the day of the shoot. Please double check that this is correct. Then, just add the date to your calendar to make sure mom, dad, baby and any siblings are ready when the day comes!
The photographer will arrive within a 1 hour window on your chosen photoshoot day.
How long does the shoot last?
The photoshoot usually lasts about an hour.
Of course! We want to make sure we bring your vision to life. One of the perks of having a photoshoot in your home is the ability to include props that are important to you and your family.
Something came up and I have to cancel my photoshoot, is that possible?
Yes! We understand that life (especially with a newborn) gets hectic. The $99.99 Session Fee will be fully refunded on all shoots cancelled at least 72 hours before your photoshoot date and time. Unfortunately, if you cancel within 72 hours of the designated shooting time, we’re unable to refund any Session Fees, because photographers have already been scheduled and routed for your day. Forfeited fees cannot be applied to future photoshoots.
When will I get my studio quality photos?
Between the photoshoot and the appointment with your CXR is approximately 3 days. During that appointment, you’ll be given package options (digitals, prints, canvas and more). Digital photos will be available for download within 3 business days. Prints will be produced and shipped within 2 weeks of the order confirmation.
Will I have access to my photo gallery after?
At this time, the images are only viewable during your scheduled online meeting with your portrait design consultant. This allows us to edit and enhance your digital photos, create collages and customize artwork with your input. We highly recommend that everyone who wishes to view the images be included in this online meeting.
